Texas CEC offers a wide variety of programs for the business of the Consulting Engineering.
 
Legislative Advocacy
Texas CEC is committed to advocating the interests of consulting engineers before the Texas Legislature and State Agencies on issues such as privatization, governmental competition, tort reform, procurement matters, liability issues, taxes, professional issues and others.
 
Industry Promotions
Texas CEC works hard to promote the visibility and image of those in the private practice of consulting engineering. We promote engineering excellence, qualifications-based selection and the development and expansion of markets for engineering services.
 
Membership Privileges

Texas CEC and ACEC operate numerous insurance and benefit programs that member firms can utilize, including Life/Health benefits from UnitedHealth Care. 

Marsh USA helps broker professional liability insurance, business insurance and workers compensation. The money those Texas CEC member firms save by participating in these programs more than pays for the cost of their membership investment. 

Members are also encouraged to participate in the yearly Salary Survey

Texas CEC keeps consulting engineers informed of the latest news and developments in Texas and in the nation that affect consulting engineers’ business and professional practices.
